01The work
What this service covers
A standard clean handles what a scraper can reach. This one goes the length of the system: through the plenum, up the accessible run of duct, and out to the exhaust fan on the roof, which comes up off its curb so the housing and the blades can be washed properly. It is the clean to book if you do not know when the ducts were last opened, or if you have taken over a kitchen and inherited somebody else's grease.
The part that matters afterwards is the evidence. We photograph the inside of the ductwork as well as the outside of the hood, so you can see the surfaces nobody can look at from the floor, and you get a written report of what we found — thin spots, damaged panels, an access hatch that should be there and is not. Anything we cannot reach gets written down rather than quietly skipped, because an inspector will find it either way.
One thing this is not: we aren't a fire suppression contractor, so we don't service ansul or test the system over your cookline. That is a separate licence and a separate visit, and we will tell you plainly if yours looks like it needs one.
